Where'd she go? Why is her name deleted from the kink database on all her shoots?
its a very long story and this may not be the place to share it, that said chanta is still in the business and google might help you find her
She's not deleted from the Kink.com database -- there are 8 pages of results on her name here:
The confusion may arise from the fact that she is not always listed as a performer on the shoots where she was the director (see for example http://www.wiredpussy.com/site/search.jsp?search=chanta&searchButton=Search). You see the same issue with Princess Donna (http://www.wiredpussy.com/site/search.jsp?search=princess+donna&searchButton=Sea rch).
And yes, Googling Chanta will definitely find you plenty of hits on her current projects.
Kink-pr is right. Just Google.
BTW, it's great to have new posts bolded!
I was wondering the same thing earlier today. I love Chanta 'cause she's a fellow Aussie. So I checked her Wikipedia page to see. Seems a bit out of date since it mentions CyberNet Entertainment rather than Kink.com.
Just wondering if they parted on good terms and hoping she might come back for a few shoots, maybe even Training of O. Would love to see Chanta on TTOO.
I for one don't expect that to happen. She never convinced me as a sub; and to be honest I didn't find her that great as a Domme. <Don't shoot me for having a different opinion>
I don't think Chanta and Kink parted well, but she has a site of her own so she will not bother.
.....sorry Wookie, still hope you'll be my friend.............
I did suggest few months ago to have Chanta to be involved on the training of Donna.Mz Berlin did reply that won't happen,Kink and the Twisted Factory are two different entity,so no hope for that.
I think Chanta is a great domme, and Mz Berlin, will certainly agree, and would not dare to say otherwise, the repercution would be too risky. But I would say she is not a good sub.Her one and only appearance on Insex, with her good friend of the time Cow Girl, was not memorable.
Yeah, I found her blog yesterday and spent a while looking at it.. It isn't likely that she'd do a shoot, even though she's still in SF. It's a shame there's bad blood there. Great things could come from colaboration between these two entities of kinkiness.
Kink and Chanta are not on good terms. Unfortunately.
poo, i like chanta. i went to one of her rope bondage workshops in berkley and she was super entertaining and helpful. oh well, she was never my favorite part of kink. i'll live.
Personally I think that She Who Must Not Be Named is an amazing domme. She has trained me, and continues to do so, in "her style" and I feel honored.
She currently only works for herself. You can google her to find out where to find her, and her company.
I work for both Kink and SWMNBN, and they're both wonderful.
So, to answer the original question-
Chanta and Kink parted ways, Chanta wrote the definitive book on bondage for sex with plenty of helpful photos and examples. Then she toured the country and abroad to promote her book and to offer classes on a variety of kinky subjects before coming back to SF to open her own kinky bondage website, which has since grown into several sites.
her bondage book is amazing, her work is amazing. i will continue to keep my eye on her outside of kink.
