I agree completely with everything Rachael says.  I have watched (ahem) my share of kink.com's product, and David Steinberg's article highlights very well the things I love most about it--that you get to watch torture based pornography that isn't tainted by doubts/concerns as to the conditions of the shoot.  It is telling and refreshing that Public Disgrace (et al.) is so transparent about who's truly in control of the scene, and I especially enjoy the fun contrast between Princess Donna's smirk just as she's zapping someone's butt-plug, and how tenderly she treats her playthings when they need it.
