This year I will be eating vegetarian turkey. vegetarian Turkey. vegetarian turkey - I was hoping if I wrote it enough it would seem ok to eat fake meat for the holiday. Meh.
I used to be vegetarian - for ten years, vegan even for some of that time. Then a dear friend of mine happened to be cooking Buffalo and there was no going back. I mean I lived ten years without bacon - what the hell was I thinking? I do have to say though those ten meat-free years taught me the value of great food and that meat should not be of less quality than your potatoes. So I eat meat now but good meat that - here it comes - is sustainability raised, morally killed or at least subjected to less bullshit. No meat should cost a buck.
