I've always felt awkward about writing journals, so please members, bear with me if I stumble a bit in this exercise...
I am very happy that this week Nerine and I began transforming the Sactum. For too long it has been neglected and used as a temporary storage room. This has always made me a little sad as I feel like it has great potential. There is something about this room that I am very drawn to - its darkness and severity appeal to me. On wednesday Nerine and I spent several hours cleaning the space and moving furniture and relocating things to more appropriate places. Today I spent some of our allotted chore time fine tuning things that I could. There is still much we can do with the space but I am pleased with the progress we have made so far.
Due to a shoot in the lounge today, Iona and I decided to focus our energy on the Slave Quarter at what was to be the s. We polished and cleaned the furniture, and spent some time restocking candle holders. We also had a brief visit from Kaos, whom we've missed very much.
Today I started reading the first book in Laura Antoniou's Marketplace series. I must say that I am hooked. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Antoniou several years ago at what was to be the inception of TUF - The First Supper. I am embarrassed to say that at the time I was not familiar with her writing. However I will always remember my interaction with her that evening - there were certain elements of grace and subtlety to her actions that I did not recognize at the time. There is part of me that wishes I could go back in time and time and correct the mistakes I made, and there is part of me that says "let it go, you were only a novice at that point."

Today was a very sweaty day. Temperatures are soaring in SF, just in time for Folsom. I spent a long time today polishing the wood furniture in the Sanctum, most of which has never been polished to my knowledge. I am proud to see the wood start to gleam as it should.
I had great weekend. I did a photo shoot on saturday with a local photographer. We took a bit of a hike and I got to run around naked in the woods, which I always enjoy. On sunday I had the opportunity to laze about a bit and chose to spend it finishing reading The Marketplace. I enjoyed this book immensely. Aside from the eroticism of the novel, I found the development and growth of the various slaves to be fascinating. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Today during my study time I chose to begin reading Rice's Sleeping Beauty series. Stylistically I don't find it to very compelling, but I am willing to give it a chance and see how it develops.
I'm very very excited for Folsom. Sunday can't get here soon enough.
Hi Katt,
I am excited at what your future journal entries will bring. I'm glad to hear the Sanctum is being put into much-deserving order... and I agree, from all the way here in MN it has a dungeon-esque appeal!
My Master requires me to keep a semi-weekly journal so that my head has a chance to unclutter all the junk and miscellaneous stuff floating around up there.
It's hard at first, but after a while you'll get used to it!
Good work on this one!
Hi Katt,
It's a very good idea to write a journal. And thanks for your comments about the book that you red. It is always surprising to see how a book can sometimes impress us more than a movie.
Just in few words, I have to say that I really appreciate all of your work and performances. I also recently discovered your old blog and let me say that you're a very impressive and fascinating girl. After a few months, I have to say that I became a great fan !!
But let me ask you one question : Is the 'petit chat perdu' still lost or does he find a House ? ![]()
Thanks a lot and and we wait for the following of your journal !
(and I understand now why the Sanctum seems so different in the freecams. Good job !)
Tony
I missed something, what happened to Kaos, and you did a wonderful job on your journal. Have a great evening
